A Special Message from David Shannon

One thing about rules is that they're almost always written—on signs, on labels, on boxes, on tests, and on school handouts. Can you imagine how many rules you'd break if you couldn't read? You'd step on the grass, you'd jaywalk all the time, and you'd probably stand in the wrong line a lot, too. Reading keeps you from getting into trouble.
