Reach Out and Read hello friend Save the Chikdren
 
Chicago, Illinois
The teachers in the 294 Chicago, IL classrooms that received libraries from ClassroomsCare and Hello Friend celebrated reading with Buddy Reading, Books in a Bag, Book Chats, and more.
 
Putney, Vermont
More than 50 volunteers from a Retired Teachers Group, paired with local members of the AARP, collated and packed 100 books into 1,400 30-pound boxes in Putney, VT, The Green Mountain Apple Orchards. That’s 42,000 pounds of books, the equivalent of about three large elephants!
   
Surprise, AZ
Kay Edward’s Kingswood Elementary School Kindergarten students in Surprise, AZ, were one of the 57 classrooms in Arizona to receive libraries for their classes.
