Interview with a Deinonychus
Rebecca: How tall are you?
Dino: I am 10 feet long and 5 feet tall.
Rebecca: Do you have a nickname?
Dino: As you see, my nickname is “Terrible Claw”.
Rebecca: Are you a meat-eater or a plant-eater?
Dino: I’m a meat-eater.
Rebecca: Do you have anything on you that helps you fight predators?
Dino: I don’t really have anything on me to help me fight but I was born with sharp claws that look like swords.
Rebecca: How many fingers do you have on 1 hand?
Dino: 3 fingers.
Rebecca: Do you have any other abilities?
Dino: I can run fast!
Rebecca: Every dinosaur can run fast, what makes you so special?
Dino: Most dinosaurs can’t run as fast as me!
Rebecca: How fast can you run?
Dino : Let’s just say I run really fast.
Rebecca: Is there any other fascinating stuff about yourself?
Dino: I have a curved flexible neck, and a long rigid tail!
Rebecca: Fascinating! So, tell me, how long ago did you live on this planet called Earth?
Dino: About 110 million years ago I lived on this planet that you call Earth.
Rebecca: Did you fight any big animals in your life, like a Tyrannosaurus Rex?
Dino: Actually my life wssn’t that interesting!
Rebecca: Really?
Dino: Yeah!
Rebecca: How’s it going, you know, being a dinosaur and all?
Dino: It’s not that interesting, I mean I do the same old thing all day. I just go hunting, eat, walk, stalk, that kind of stuff.
Rebecca: Is that all for our plant eater?
Dino: Didn’t you understand me earlier? I am a meat-eater!
Rebecca: Right……… I knew that, well that’s all for the Deinonychus for today.
Dino: Who said that I was done? Come back here, I’m not finished.
Rebecca (running quickly in the opposite direction): Why did I have to interview a meat-eater?
