Interview With A Struthiomimus
Dave: Hello, welcome to Dino Talk. Today I am with Struthiomimus.
Struthiomimus: Hello Dave thanks for having me today.
Dave: So could you tell us about what you eat?
Struthiomimus: Of course. I eat plants and dead animal bodies.
Dave: How much do you weigh?
Struthiomimus: I weigh 150-300 kg. I am a very fast runner.
Dave: You weigh a lot. Do you walk on 2 legs or 4 legs?
Struthiomimus: I walk on 2 legs. I really don’t know how to walk on 4 legs
Dave: That’s all right maybe we can teach you. So do you have teeth?
Struthiomimus: If you want the truth no, I have a beak and it is good for picking at bodies and grabbing plants.
Dave: Amazing! How tall are you?
Struthiomimus: I am about 4 meters tall and 2.4 meters long from head to the tip of my tail.
Dave: You’re huge and that’s good. What was the time period you lived in called?
Struthiomimus: I’m not really sure but I think it was the Upper Cretaceous.
Dave: Do you know how long ago that was?
Struthiomimus: I think it was around 16 million years ago.
Dave: That means you are really old. Do you know any of your ancestors?
Struthiomimus: Yes I do; he is an ostrich. I look a lot like him except I have a tail and no feathers.
