Quetzacoatlus: Flying through Storms
by: Mary Meghan T., Grade: 4

Quetzacoatlus is a pterosaur. Pterosaurs are very interesting Mesozoic Era creatures that fly, like Pterodactlyus. Anyways, Quetzacoatlus is the size of an airplane! With a wingspan of 40 feet, the sight of a Quetzacoatlus would scare me! Quetzacoatlus ate some meat and carrion. It weighed about 176-198 pounds. Its name means Like Quetzacoatl. It may have nested in large colonies. The wings attached to the top of the legs, making Quetzacoatlus able to walk. The length of a Quetzacoatlus is about 20 feet. Finally, always remember Quetzacoatlus as a great creature and the biggest animal ever to take the air!
