TYRANNOSAURUS VS SPINOSAURUS
by: Brynden P., Grade: 6+

There is some debate about who would win between a Spinosaurus aegyptacus and Tyrannosaurus rex. I will prove today that a Tyrannosaurus would have been the victor in this scenario. Of course, these dinos never met, but who cares. Anyhow Tyrannosaurus was smaller than the monstrous Spinosaurus, but its bite force was so much stronger, the strongest of any land animal known. This tyrant would crush the Spinosaurs neck. Tyrannosaurus was much bulkier, and was also smarter.
The Tyrannosaurus also had more dangerous prey in its area such as Ankylosaurus and Triceratops. But enough about him. Lets look at Spinosaurs strengths and compare them to Tyrannosaurs. Spinosaurus had dangerously large claws that could rip flesh from bone. Its
size was also far greater, by about 2 meters. It had huge fighting competition too, like Carcharodontosaurus and Rugops. But, Tyrannosaurus would win with its superior strength and intelligence. Spinosaurus had claws, but they could not rip Tyrannosaurs thick hide on its neck and face. Also, if Spinosaurus tried to kill Tyrannosaurus like in the movies, it would break its jaws. So, as you can see, Tyrannosaurus would have certainly won this fight.
