Dinosaur Titans
by: Sir P., Grade: 6+

Our story begins on the stormy night long ago in the late Cretaceous Period. This was the era when everyone’s favorite dinosaur, the ferocious Tyrannosaurus rex, walked the Earth. The T.rex had to fight for its food, along with other carnivores. One day, the T.rex had nearly starved to death. For all he knew, he could perish in the next hour without a meal. So, he assaulted the first food source he locked eyes with. What this Tyrant king didn’t expect, however, was his meal to gruesomely fight back. He opened his jaws wide and approached the Triceratops in front of him. With that, the battle had begun. Neither of these titans were going to let the other win the fight. The T.rex grazed the Triceratops rugged skin, and left behind small tears. When the T.rex turned for another fatal attack, he was surprised when he saw the Triceratops charging him head on. At the last second, he just barely stepped out of the way as the Triceratops went flying forward. This was the end. The T.rex powerfully roared, and ran for the Triceratops. It only had the chance to turn around and see the T.rex before it was too late. The Tyrannosaurus sunk his teeth deep into the victim, making its escape impossible. There was nothing the Triceratops could do in its last precious seconds of life. It was now, of course, dead. The Tyrannosaurus rex looked upon his new meal on the ground. He was satisfied with the amount of meat he had acquired. This will keep him alive, for now.
