Potato Beetle

Potato Beetle

Many plant-eating beetles are considered serious pests because they feed on farm crops, trees, bushes, and other plants. Other beetles are considered important in controlling insect pests on farm crops and in gardens.

Only the Potato Beetle's hind wings are used for flight. When the beetle is not flying, its wing cover protects the thin, delicate hind wings.
