Skagit River: Your Mission

Join research teams in New Mexico to learn about Native American people who lived there many years ago. This mission involves looking at the homes of Native Americans who lived over 1,000 years ago.

These ancient people left behind many clues to their way of life especially in the their homes and towns. Through field reports, photographs, and interviews with scientists and others on the scene, you will discover firsthand how Earthwatch teams uncover these clues and work to preserve this important historical record. You'll also do your own research on Native Americans, and share it with the world by publishing your findings on this site.
