Through their experiments, the Wright brothers realized that in order to have lift, they needed to create a wing that was flat on the bottom and curved on the top. They built a custom aluminum gas-powered engine that produces 12 horsepower which was light enough to power the plane without weighing it down. Finally, they created a system of cables which allowed the pilot to raise and lower the wing tips in opposite directions and shift the rudder. Your choices led you to building the same kind of plane.
