Asteroids are all over space. Asteroids come to earth only in certain times. An asteroid that came to earth 50,000 years ago and it weighed up to 300,000 tons! When astrodes hit the earth,a big hole is where it hit it. The hole that the asteroid hit was 570 miles long! Lots of asteroids are very dangerous. They float around space, but some go really fast and hit the earth. Astroids are made up of rock that is really strong. Astroids can be fun to learn about.
