Review by: Devin P. California, Grade 6 One reason Search For Safety is great because it has relatable characters situations. Ben got angry at Reggie, because Reggie was making fun of Ben’s shoe. Then Ben slammed Reggie to the lockers. The author build suspense in this quote, “Mom, are you okay? Is everything okay down there?, I yelled.” This moment was so filled with suspense because you don’t know what happen to her. It has lots of suspense. It also has lots of problems.
