  Cross Fire by James Patterson

Review by: Abby K.
Minnesota, Grade 10

Cross Fire by James Patterson is an amazing and easy to read book. The conflict between Alex Cross and Kyle Craig keep you wanting to read more. They are enemies, Kyle Craig is the bad guy who murders people and Alex Cross is a detective. But when Kyle Craig changes his identity to look like a former detective Alex Cross is stuck working with him. He doesn't even know it is Kyle Craig. On the crime scenes Kyle makes smart remarks just to tick Alex off they are always on edge with each other.

I really enjoyed reading this book it was very suspense full. There wasn't a dull moment, the action in this book makes you want to keep reading, and never put the book down. I feel that anyone could read this especially if they are into mystery books.

The author James Patterson kept his writing crisp and simple to understand which made it better for me to read. I got really into Cross Fire which made it a better reading experience. Being able to relate to the book your reading makes you want to keep reading and that is just what Cross Fire did for me. It's a wonderful book to get a hold of and read.
