If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Numeroff

Review by: Rocco V.
New Jersey, Grade 2

Hi my name is Rocco and I am from New Jersey. I am in the second grade. The title of the book I'm reviewing is If You Give a Mouse A Cookie, a fictional picture book by Author Laura Joffeen Numeroff. The illustrator is Felicia Bond. The Author went to Pratt Institute in Brooklyn College. Her first book is called Beatrice Doesn't Want To. She loved to make stories, draw and read.

This exciting book is about a mouse and a boy. It is so silly that the Mouse has to take responsibility for cleaning the messy house. In the middle of the story, the mouse takes a nap because he's exhausted from cleaning! It is enjoyable because if you give a mouse a cookie he will never be satisfied and always want more. I loved it so much because it made me giggle. If you think this book may be something you'd like to read, go to the library and check it out.
