Bud Not Buddy by Christopher Paul Curtis

Review by: Trevor S.
Iowa, Grade 6

Do you like to meet new people? Do you like adventure? Can you imagine being in a shed full of wasp? In Bud Not Buddy this happens to Bud. Bud doesn’t have a home he is on the move trying to find someone very special to him, but that person doesn’t tern out as he though the person would be. Read to find out who that special person is.

I recommend this book because it has lots of adventure and overcoming fears. I liked the writing in the book because after each chapter it had a cliffhanger. The theme would be perseverance because Bud had lots of perseverance and he was really nice to people and said yes sir and no mama. Read to find out who he thinks is the special person to him.
