Nate the Great and the Pillowcase by Marjorie Weinman Shartmat

Review by: Marissa W.
Connecticut, Grade 2

ďI am so tired,Ē said Nate.
The phone rings . He answers it. It is his
friend, Rosamond. She lost her catís pillow case.
Nate goes to his friendís house. He could not find
it. He went to the morning and night restaurant. He
looks. He can not find it. He looks at the rag the manager has.
It is not the pillow case. But he looked very hard to see
if it was the pillow case. Nate asks Rosamond where
she lost her catís pillow case. She said Annie came to
her house, then she took her laundry basket home.
The story was over. Nate went to Annie and her dog fangís
house. and he lookís so hard to find it in her living room, kitchen,
office and up stairs.
Read the story to find out what
happens next.

I recommend this book to: 6-57

I think this book is really good to read because
it teaches kids what to do when they canít find
something: look for someone to help and donít
worry. Just look really hard.
