The Autobiography of Malcolm X is a compelling book because of the change that took place in his life.

He began his life Hustling dope and leadign robberies, but when he was convicted, he converted to Islam. Once out of jail, Malcolm X became on of the most important and influential black rights leaders in the world. His greatness and extrodanary leading abilties lead to his assassination in 1965.
