Review by: Mason K.
Pennsylvania, Grade 6

ORGANIZATION:

I am going to have 4 paragraphs. 1 is for organization. The other 3 are for characters , setting , and plot.

CHARACTERS:

Moose Flanagan is the main character. He has an autistic sister , Natalie. His mother is a piano teacher and I donít know what his dad did before they had moved.

SETTING:

His dad got a job as an Electrician/Guard on , get ready Ö , Alcatraz Island. So they had to move there and live on the Island in an apartment where all the guards and their families live.

PLOT:

1935 , This was the Era where people didnít know much about of the disease of Autism. Part of the reason they were moving from Santa Monica was because there was a school near Alcatraz for kids suffering from the disease of Autism. There they may be able to treat Autism the best as they can. Alcatraz , the worst place to be as a prisoner and the best place for one to be locked up in.

Opinion:

I love how the author doesnít actually mean ď Al Capone Does My Shirts ď. Read this book to find out what I mean. I liked this book , you should too!
