Alex Rider #1: Stormbreaker by Anthony Horrowitz

Review by: Bella R.
North Carolina, Grade 8

It was interesting to see the links throughout the book. It got a little mundane though, as because of that you had to pay VERY close attention throughout the book, or else the plot didn't make sense. Also, nice try Anthony, but your so called 'hidden' James Bond references might as well have been highlighted pink!

There were WAY too many cliches. There were about 23 (I counted) in the first CHAPTER! Plus, Alex Rider is perfect...too perfect. He has NO flaws, so the problem is you cant really relate to him, as he is so inhumanly flawless. Boring. I give it a 3/10.
