  The Final Journey by Gudrun Pausewang

The name of my book is The Final Journey by Gudrun Pausewang. The setting is on a train with a bunch of other Jews. Then it ends up at a place where they are split up for men and woman and then they all end up naked in a shower. The main character in this story is a girl named Alice and her parents and grandparents other characters are other people in the train and neighbors she knew before the ride. To me the genre of this store is a memoir because of how it tells only a point and time in Alice’s life.



In conclusion I have learned a lot from this book on what happens at the holocaust but also for me to be a better person because no one should be treated as bad as the Jews were. I also think that everyone should read this book to hear about the stuff these people had to go through. I also enjoyed this book a lot because once I got to the climax I couldn’t put the book down it was just so good. But I also couldn’t believe what th
