Harris and Me: A Summer Remembered by Gary Paulsen

Review by: Destiny P.
Ohio, Grade 7

I enjoyed the book Harris and Me by Gary Paulsen. The setting is a farm in the middle of nowhere in the 1940’s.
Harris is the one who says bad words a lot and is very adventurous. “Me” is the one that goes with the flow with Harris. “Me” was taken away from his parents and started living with the Larson’s for the summer.

“Me” does these promises with Harris and when Harris does these funny things, “Me” gives Harris something in return.
I would recommend this book because when you start to get into the book, every event feels real and when something big happens your just on the edge of your seat to read what happened.
