Review by: Gavin B.

It had a surprise in the middle of it.
The book that I read is called Beast Quest, Kaymon The Gorgon Hound. There are seventy pages in this book and its an easy read because the writing is big. It is written by Adam Blade. It is the 16th book out of a series of 21 books. This type of book is a fantasy, mystery, and science fiction.
This book is about a boy named Tom (the main character) and his pet horse, and a girl named Elenna and her pet wolf. Together they fight the evil spirit Malvel and try to stop him from taking over their home Advantia. In this book they are trying to save their friend Tartok from the evil beast Kaymon The Gorgon Hound. Will Tom and Elenna defeat Kaymon The Gorgon Hound and go to make it to the next beast or will Kaymon defeat them?
I loved this book because there is a ton of action and adventure and it is a very exciting series. I love this series. I also liked reading this book because it was easy to follow. The author didn’t use big words that were hard to understand. The author did a really good job explaining the details. The author described it so well that it felt like I was right there in the book.
The only thing that I didn’t like about this book is that most of the names were long and hard to pronounce. One quote from the book I liked is when Tom says, “While there is blood in my veins...it is my destiny to confront these evil creatures- and defeat them I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a good exciting adventure book and I think that they will like it!
