Maryland, Grade 4 Opal`s mother ran away when opal was three.She was left with her father.Her father doesn`t pay attention to Opal until the end of the story.She finds a dog in the Winn Dixie store.She named him Winn Dixie. My interpretation of Because Of Winn Dixie is to have faith because Opal always had faith that her mother would come back.But the Preacher had no faith that his wife would come back.I recommend this book to people from 5 to 100 because this book is not just a children`s book it is an everybody book,and everbody would understand this book!!!
