Review by: Abigail M. North Carolina, Grade 5 An interesting thing about the book Old Yeller is that it has a way to make you feel, sad, emotional but also happy, for Travis at points in the story. Most books don't do this for me. I could not put Old Yeller down. I really enjoyed this book because it made me realize that we take animals for granted and we need to respect them more. I also liked this book because it has a great ending an it doesn't leave you hanging.
