The Escape by Hannah Jayne is a great mystery book, but unlike most mysteries where you can assume the killer, Jayne keeps you guessing right until it is revealed in the book. Throughout the book there are many twists and turns that make you change your opinions, which I thought was really interesting.
Even though in some parts of the book I didn't like the outcome, the book in its entirety was excellent. Despite all of her peers calling her and Fletcher killers, I liked how Avery stayed loyal to him when she could have easily crumbled under the pressure. Also I liked how the author made you fall in love with some of the characters, and then suddenly added a drastic event that made you hate them.
