Guardians of Ga'hoole #2: The Journey by Kathryn Laskey

Review by: Brady N.
Minnesota, Grade 6

It is about owls

In The Journey By: Kathryn Lasky, a group of owls work together to solve their problems. The main characters are Soren, Gylfie, Twilight, Digger, and Mrs.P. As a result of teamwork, they fly in flocks and help each other when they are in trouble. The author does a good job showing a lot of action.Soren is a caring and helpful owl. When he is in great danger his friends rescue him. Throughout the story, teamwork is a life saver.

In this book Soren is the main character. When other owls are in trouble, Soren helps them. When Soren is in trouble, the other owls help him. Soren is very smart. Soren is in a Navigating chaw or group which is a group which makes directions to go..Soren is the best at navigating owl and can tell or find any place. Soren is the leader of the flock.

They work as a team to accomplish their goals. If they go to different places, they will travel together in a flock to protect others. If they need to figure out a problem, they use everybody's skills to figure it out. If one is in need of great danger, another owl will come and rescue him.

Readers that like adventure books would like this one. .I would Recommend reading the first book first to get caught up on what's happening. This is a good series of books to read. The first book is called The Capture.
