Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank

Review by: Suzy D.
Tennessee, Grade 7

I think Anne Frank is interesting because you get a first hand view of what it was like to be a thirteen year old girl in 1942. When reading this book, you see all the hardships of the war like bad food or outgrown clothes. It really changes your respective that just reading a textbook.

I liked this book because, as a teenage girl myself, it is relatable. The book also showed how Anne interacted with her family and how difficult war time must have been.I also just love how sarcastic and rebellious she is. Its great to see a thirteen year old just being herself.
