Demigods and Magicians by Rick Riordan

Review by: Neo T.

Demigods and Magicians is a very good book combining two very good book series, to make it into one book. The book takes place in many different places in the USA. The main characters are Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, and the Kanes. The Kanes are two siblings that are egyptian magicians, and the older brother, Carter, is a combat magician and the younger sister, Sadie, fights with spells, where Percy Jackson is the son of Poseidon, a greek god, and Annabeth is a daughter of Athena, another greek god. In the first battle, Percy meets Carter and they work together to fight a giant crocodile, and they used their different abilities to battle and try to defeat it. Then, Annabeth meets Sadie and they have to work together to battle an unknown god that was trying to make himself an Egyptian and Greek god. In their final battle, Percy, Annabeth, and the Kanes fight together and combine their powers to fight the Egyptian god, Set, who was trying to become both a greek and Egyptian god. Will they survive? You must read the book to find out!

I think this book is a very good book because it combines two of the author's favorite series and makes them battle very seriously, still while adding each character's special humor to it. It also creates fight scenes that are very good just like their other books.
