The Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer

Review by: Isaiah R.
California, Grade 7

One interesting thing about the book is that it is a collection of stories.

I will be talking about the Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer.
Out of what I have read so far, I think that it is a very good book because it is a collection of tales that pilgrims on their pilgrimage tell in a competition to get a free meal at the inn they stayed at before they went on their trip. There are different varieties of the pilgrims. Therefore there are different types of stories. One of the pilgrims was a Knight and he told a story about two cousins that fought in a battle but were imprisoned and while they were imprisoned they were fighting over a girl, Emily, which led to the king challenging them to a lance battle and the winner won Emily. This is the summary of what i have read so far.
