Review by: Cara A. Maryland, Grade 4 One interesting fact about Almost Home is that the girl's name is Sugar and the dog's name is Shush. Another fact is Sugar wants Shush to be a helper dog. She also bring Shush everywhere. I liked the book but, it's a little bit sad because Sugar loses her home. Another reason is Shush is adorable.
