Alex Rider #1: Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz

Review by: Benen L.
Maryland, Grade 5

Would you like to be stuck in a truly evil sociopath’s house? Well that’s what the main character Alex dealt with. He had his uncle killed in a “car accident.” But Alex finds out the truth, he goes to the junkyard where his uncle’s car was and finds bullet holes in the front window. Think it was a car accident now? Alex was chosen to work for a secret agency, they gave Alex the chance to stop a wealthy man named Sayle. He was creating a computer with deadly causes. Alex had training at the agencies training area. He goes to Sayle’s house to find out what he was up to and stop his evil plot. Alex found evidence of what Sayle was up to, Alex jumps into action to stop Sayle.

One of my favorite parts in the book is when Alex is trying to hitch hike an airplane and other bad guys are chasing him. Alex was able to stop them and the cars blow up!I highly recommend this outstanding book! Stormbreaker shows strong details that you could easily picture in your mind! I would give the book 5 big fat stars!
