Moonlight Becomes You by Mary Higgins Clark

Review by: McKenna B.
Ohio, Grade 10

I like a good book that keeps me on the edge of my seat the entire way through.
Therefore, Moonlight Becomes You by Mary Higgins Clark was very enjoyable. The main
character is Maggie Holloway, a successful photographer who reunites with her ex-step-mother
from her childhood after many years only to discover a twisting change of events when she goes
to visit her.

The best part of the book is the introduction of new characters that the author constantly
introduces to the plot to keep the reader thinking. Then, at the end of the novel, the way that
Clark connects all the events and people together is done perfectly. Although the novel is fiction and very perplexing, it reminds us that anyone could lose a
friend or family member any day, so always cherish being around the people that you love.
In today’s world an event such as in the novel is very rare. However, if you would like to
see a very complex plot full of suspicious characters unfold, you should read Moonlight
Becomes You by Mary Higgins Clark.
