The Clique #4: Invasion Of The Boy Snatchers by Lisi Harrison

Review by: Molly M.
Connecticut, Grade 7

Invasion of the Boy Snatchers is the 4th novel of Lisi Harrison's The Clique series. It's about five girls- Massie, Alicia, Dylan, Kristen, and Claire. Claire is now sharing a bedroom with Massie while their house is getting built, Kristen has a haircut disaster that has her looking like a boy, and Dylan thinks she's fat. When they think everything has gone wrong, Alicia's attractive cousin Nina comes to visit from Spain. Now the attention that used to belong to the girls now belongs to Nina. Every girl from Octavian Country Day School wants Nina's fashion tips...and all the boys from Briarwood want her heart, including Massie's crush! With the Love Struck Dance just around the corner, everyone wants Nina and the girls seem invisible.

Even worse, Nina starts coming to all of Massie's Friday night sleepovers, and when she does, the girl's belongings start to disappear! Maybe Claire's boyfriend isn't the only thing Nina is stealing. Now revenge is wanted in and Alicia's foreign cousin is wanted out. Will Nina take their fame away or will the girls get her back to Spain faster than you can say asta la wago? I liked this book because I could relate to it and it had humor that will make you laugh out loud! Invasion of the Boy Snatchers is a great novel if you enjoy books that you can't possibly put down!
