Massachusetts, Grade 6 This book is about a little young girl that is trying to get across the ocean in a cargo ship.While she’s in the ship\at sea she writes different events that happen in her diary.While there at sea trying to find new land.While there where at sea they explore and go threw some tough time at land and sea. The theme of this book is trust and how people believe accomplish their dreams of getting to new land.The theme changes in to a sad theme in the story/book to an emotional when the people struggle to survive. The very last theme is hard work because they expanded their society and build up to their goals. I would recommend this book to my friends and family members of mine and people that are interested in this type of books about history and sea.
