Harry Potter #5: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling

Review by: Aidan S.
Massachusetts, Grade 6

J.K. Rowling did a great job making me like and hate different characters based on their actions. For example, when Delores Umbridge banned Harry Potter from playing Quidditch for the rest of that year, it made me dislike her. I liked Dumbledore because J.K. Rowling made him so wise. I felt this way when Dumbledore saved Harry from Voldemort.

I liked this book because it was funny, entertaining and it made me want to know what would happen next. I thought the Weasley's were funny because they turned a hallway into a swamp and used fireworks next to a staircase to make Umbridge mad. The author held my interest because she is good at making every sentence full of detail.
