The Burning World by Isaac Marion

Review by: Carson P.
California, Grade 10

Throughout this novel, I felt as though I traveled with this group of un-ordinaries around the world. Looking for answers with them, going through each town, each experience, with them, and all the time, trying to find a reason for all their troubles. In this post-zombie apocalypse world, this group has found a way to cure the infected by making them remember who they are. On the run from the overruling government, they want to prove to the world that there is a way out besides bullets and bombs.

I enjoyed this novel because of how the setting is manipulated by the authors mind as the story progresses. Marion shows how the government is slowly taking over the world through each of the characters unique perspectives as they go from town to town, state to state, all around the world.
