Grade 10 Reviews The Strange Case of the Alchemist's Daughterby Theodora Goss

Oregon, Grade 10
One of the main characters, Diana Hyde, added such a humorous twist to the story. Among all the adults and their maturity, she acted more like a wild animal than a teenage girl. Although her personality never changed, there was definitely a lot of progress in her relationships with the other main characters, which was a very interesting thing to read about.
The complex mystery written in such a humorous fashion was such a unique idea. I really enjoyed understanding the story along with the reactions of each characters as the plot progresses. Furthermore, the references to classic stories made the experience much more exciting to readó as if it was a fanfiction!
