Chanters of Tremaris #1: The Singer of All Songs by Kate Constable

Review by: Catie C.
Texas, Grade 7

This book is absoulutely fantastic. I have to agree with the other reviwer of this book, Lauren M. At first i was skeptical. But this turned out to be one of the best books I have ever read(and let me tell you,I have read a lot (like over 20,000 pages this summer, yes, I am so obsessed with reading that I actially keep track of my pages. Sad isn't it.)) My favorite part was when Calwyn used a chantment to freeze the

I liked this book because it kept me turning the pages. I knwo a lot of people say this but it's true. I actually didn't turn the pages though. I listened to this book on tape. Which is very fun for those of you like me whose eyes get tired of reading after aout the th book that day. Th e book tells how Calwyn, age 18, is so bored with her life inside the walls of Antaris. When she escapes with Darrow, she enters a world of harsh living that ultimately ends up in her and her companions defeating Darrow's used to be friend/now his enemy, Samas. It;s quite invigorating.
