Review by: Cesar M.
California, Grade 10

The novel “ Slaughterhouse five” by Kurt Vonnegut is an anti war novel mostly focusing on the bombing of Dresden. The novel is about Billy Pilgrim going through hardships and trying to find his purpose. This novel has great message, and a dark sense of humor.

This novel starts one of Billy Pilgrim friends writing a book about the Dresden bombing thren the friend ends up writing the book about Billy and his life. Overall this novel has an interesting plot honestly i got confused in the first chapters but, overall its good i would recommend this novel to teenagers and college students because, this novel is great but it has a dark sense of humor.
