Jack and the Beanstalk by Steven Kellogg

Review by: Wesley M.
Wisconsin, Grade 2

The main character is Jack. The setting is in a castle. In the beginning, Jack sold his cow to a funny looking man who gave him magic beans. In the middle, Jack`s mom found out about the beans and threw them out the window. They grew into a very tall beanstalk and Jack climbed up the beanstalk and met giants and stole stuff from them. In the end, one of the giants climbed down the beanstalk and Jack cut down the beanstalk and the giant died. The lesson is don`t trade stuff if you don`t know what it is.

I loved this book because I loved the giant's castle. I strongly recommend this book because it`s detailed.
