The Fault In Our Stars by John Green

Review by: Julia S.
New York, Grade 6

The Fault In Our Stars has lots of interesting aspects. One of them being how they incorporated teens with sickness to add to the normal story line.It adds more to the overall purpose of the book and all the plot twists and such.It also makes the book differ from other romantic books because it adds to the love and loss idea. The main characters suffering from cancer also spreads awareness with the fact that you never know when itís gonna be the last moment with your loved one so make it last.

Overall,I really enjoyed the book.It brought ďlove and lossĒ into the perspective because Hazel never would have thought of losing Gus until the time came. Its a really good teen love story and is a really good read if you are into romance and such.Though I donít recommend towards younger audiences such as my age group.I say this because it brings up very mature topics that I wasnít previously aware of but other then that it was very very enjoyable and definitely put some time into this book.
