The last part is interesting. It is much more understandable than the other chapters. The conformity of society as Montag knows it collapses in on himself. The captain finds out about his books because Mildred canít shut her flue. Then he runs around while the newspeople start rollicking with the TVs. Now Montag finds a new life.
I donít like the fact that three is a giants commentary that takes up half the book. There is only the melancholy words of a bunch of monkeys. The picture is rather odious, and it is like a textbook lecture. The ending isnít shown on the other editions. It makes it stand out like a sore thumb.
