  Messier by Jeff Z. Klein

Review by: Brendan A.
Massachusetts, Grade 5

This biography tells the life story of one of the greatest hockey players ever- Mark Messier.

I liked it because it describes his whole career in detail from the time he played squirt hockey until he retired from the NHL. This book made me realize that hard work really does pay off. It also helped me to see that playing professional hockey is a difficult goal to attain.
