Cinderellis and the Glass Hill by Gail Carson Levine

Review by: Teresa P.
Texas, Grade 7

In this funny fairytale, it isn't a Cinderella, but Cinderellis! All Cinderleiis wants is for his brothers to like him. All Princess Marigold wishes for is for company. Her father, King Humphrey III, always went on crazy quests, leaving Marigold sad and lonely. When King Humphrey III is cursed to stay home for 5 years, Marigold thought her father's quest were done for. But King Humphrey finds a way for his new quest to look for Marigold's future husband. He'll bring the quest to him! Whoever can get up the glass hill and get three golden apples win! But can Cinderellis make it up the hill? Read on to see how or if Cinderellis makes it to the top!

I recommend this book to anyone who loves light-hearted,humourous fairytales! I loved all the elements of fantasy with a touch of wittiness. This amusing, modernized fairytale will certainly make you laugh! From flying powder to a hill made entirely out of glass, this story has it all!
