Aretha Franklin: Motown Superstar by Silvia Anne Sheafer

Review by: Lindsey C.
Pennsylvania, Grade 7

It talks about her singing for Martin Luther King Jr. during the civil right movments

I liked it beacuse Aretha is one of my favorite old time singer and she had many troubles that she pulled threw. It talks about her and her whole life and i think its interesting. She was an african american singer with an amazing voice that sang great songs. She was really religous and most of her song were for churches.
