That the Baudelaire children are sent off to a lumber mill and once again are being treated unfairly.There are being push around by a mean foreman named Flacutono and they don't care that there kids.
I liked the book becuase of there was a helpful person in this story named Charles.Charles helped the children by having klaus get brand new glasses and fed them lunch when flacutono did not.One more thing is that count Olaf does not appear until the end of the story.
