The Clique #2: Best Friends For Never by Lisi Harrison

Review by: Kerri M.
Massachusetts, Grade 7

Meet the most popular girls in school, Massie Block, Dylan Marvil, Kristen Gregory, and Alicia Reveria. These girls are filthy rich, snobby, and incredibly spoiled. They’re all wicked close friends living in Westchester.
Massie and her friends are always with each other. When you add Claire Lyons to the picture, you’re just asking for trouble. Claire is an outsider to Massie, Dylan, Kristen, and Alicia. Claire isn’t rich, she doesn’t have designer clothes, and she’s living in Massie’s guesthouse. All Claire wants to do is be “in” with the girls. Is this possible?

This was a great book! There are a few good highlights of this book, like the party and the uniform contest. The uniform contest has an interesting twist. Lisi Harrison has an excellent writing style. She doesn’t make the story confusing. In some chapters nothing much happened, but in most of the chapters there was a good plot.
