  Grade 10 Reviews
We the Living by Ayn Rand

Review by: Nakia S.
Georgia, Grade 10

It gives you a clear and realistic view of Russia during the Proletarian movement.

I Liked:
-the fact that the novel showed the Communist regime through the eyes of actual people instead of a textbook.
-Rand wasn't afraid to show the horrors and wrongs of the Communist movement.
-It was easy to relate and picture the situation.
-The novel is full of many interesting characters

I Did Not Like:
-The excessive detail made the story hard to follow and a bit annoying.
-Very boring at times
-Some shocking instances occur in the book.
-It is a long,long book.

Otherwise a good read.It is worth reading for the historical aspect. This is a provoking novel.
