Georgia, Grade 8
The heart warming story of two friends will grab your attention from the first word. When these two friends Lenny and George go out on another job on a wheat farm to stack and load wheat they find themselves in a twist of trouble from the get go. The friends look out for each other, Lenny the muscle and George the brains, even though they can’t stay together forever. The team is endangered when the boss’s son starts picking a fight with Lenny and George has to step in just in case fist fly, but Lenny reacts violently. Lenny ends up in a heap of mess when the son of the boss has an issue with his wife and it ends up being Lenny’s fault that may just cause the existence of two to put in harm’s way.
I liked the book because it told the story of true friendship
