The Bad Begining is about 3 kids who had very rich parents who died in a fire then they have to go and live with their mean relative Count Olaf. He tries to steal all their money by trying to marry the oldest girl Violet.
I think this story is set in the olden times and maybe in England but it doesn't really say.
I wouldn't describe this as a mystery book. I would describe it as a scary drama.
The main characters are the three children Violet, Klaus the baby Sunny and of course their mean relative Count Olaf. Violet is very smart. Klaus is into reading and Sunny has only 1 tooth and loves to bite. Count Olafs is scary and so is his house.
The Author made me feel as if I was in the book myself.
I enjoyed this book alot and look forward to reading the rest of the series to find out what happens to the characters. I would recommend this book to any boy or girl of any age.
